Dear Residents,
Some of you may not be aware that the following the resignation of the entire Bostock Parish Councillors at the end of last year, temporary measures were taken in January of this year, for Ward Councillors and Councillors of nearby Wards to be appointed as Bostock Parish Councillors until such time as permanent and sustainable arrangements for the future of Bostock Parish Council can be established.
The temporary membership of Bostock Parish Council is as follows –
Cllr Elton Watson (Chairman)
Cllr Helen Weltman
Cllr Mark Stocks
Cllr Joanne Moorcroft
Supported by Elaine Hamlett, carrying out duties of clerk to the Parish Council
All residents should have been made aware of the Community Governance Review and had the opportunity to respond to the consultation questionnaire posted to residents in March of this year.
Further consultation will take place on the recommendations which arise from the Community Governance Review.
During the time temporary measures are in place, myself and my fellow Cllrs will continue to work in the interests of the Parish.
We have recently arranged for work to be completed to maintain the fence and plaque of the Jubilee Oak tree on London Road, opposite the Hayhurst and are considering financing new flashing speed signs on London Road.
Should you wish to feedback on this proposal, sign up for email news feeds, or have any enquiries please contact the clerk via – clerk@bostockparishcouncil.gov.uk
Best Regards – Cllr Elton Watson
